A Pondless Waterfall That Sounds Like a Getaway, Steps From Your Back Door
A disappearing waterfall built to sound like a mountain stream, with no open standing water — safe for kids, low maintenance, and it shuts off from an app.
This Gilbert backyard needed the sound and motion of moving water without the maintenance of a full pond — or the water lost to Arizona evaporation. We built a 6-foot pondless waterfall using Jesse Red Boulders, set into the existing slope, with a hidden basin and recirculating pump so there’s zero standing water to attract mosquitoes and next to no evaporation loss.
The result: real water sound, day and night, with the upkeep of a light equipment check instead of pond care. Built over 2 days, including 3D design, excavation, plumbing, and stone work — handled start to finish by one crew, not subcontracted piecemeal.
